Week 8 DFS Picks by Chol Souders and John Burke
We had a monster week last week regarding picks. Everyone of Chol's highlighted picks scored a TD and with them all being reasonably cheap it was easy to fit studs into your lineup with them. Overall,if lineups didnt have AROD then big GPP wins werent happening but you may have been able to bring in some nice 3x-5x return by making the correct calls around our picks. This week again looks very promising with some low cost studs looking like they may blow up and have a repeat of last week. Now get out there and figure out who is going to the role of Rodgers this Sunday!!!!!!
bell is due for a multi TD game and this week he faces the 31st ranked defense against the run in Jacksonville. After the horrible performance by Sam Darnold on Mondya Night it is very likely that the Jets put the ball in their best players hand often. i am expecting 2 tds and close to 100 yards this week. Finally, something for Bell owners to get excited about.
Cincinati is just sooooo terrible. Woods hasnt had a big game yet but it is easy to see that one is coming. I am expecting a steady amount of passing in the first half for LA and Woods is Mr. Do it All for them. Cooks is still the main deep option and Kupp get most of the short targets but Woods will literally run circles around this secondary. Play him with or without Goff in mulitple GPPS.
If Wentz is going to have his best week of the season then it is very likely that he goes back to hitting his number one target more often than not. Ertz is also still waiting for his blow up game and I think this week it all comes together. Stack Wentz with Ertz and fill in around them with studs. You could be looking at a huge payday.
They are playing what is in my opinion the worst team in the league. Cinci may have already given up on the season. Look for the Rams to add some different looks and really take advantage of having Ramsey in the secondary this week. Donald is gonna feast on the weak O-line of the Bengals.
Gordon looks awful. Ekeler has not. Not that hard to figure out who should be the lead back here and I think LAC figure that out this week as well. The bears have struggled to stop the run and are at the bottom of the league in defending the pass out of the backfield. This sets up a nice matchup for Ekeler who is the clear favorite in ppr formats.
No Will Fuller in this one and for a few weeks. This leave Kenny Stills to lineup on the outside across from Hopkins. His big play ability makes him a huge upside pick here that could have a very big day on the cheap side against an Oakland Def that is awful against the pass and a very susceptible to the deep pass. That all points to a possible big day for Stills in this one.
I think the Pack and Rodgers lean on Graham here. The new look Pack offense seems to include the TE more and that is a good thing for Graham who looks like he is having a resurgence this year. This Packers receiving core is still banged up and I think they look to Graham here a lot against a vulnerable Chiefs D .
The Colts get a nice matchup against a Broncos team that is in complete sell mode. The Colts stop the run and force the pass. Doesn’t bode well for the Broncos who have an uninterested QB in Flacco at the helm. Look for the sacks, mental throwing errors on Flacco’s part and possibly hopefully the fantasy holy grail of a defensive TD.
VAYA CON DIOS!!!!
