Week 17 DFS Sleepers
Week 17 sucks! There is no other way around it. Teams like to sit their stars and rest them up for a playoff run and even worse some teams play their stars but pull them after a half, a quarter, or sometimes even a drive. This week is by far the hardest week in fantasy to figure out but it can also be very rewarding if you can narrow down your choices of who to play and use a handful of players that you expect to be in competitive situations. I will be targeting those that need to win to get in to the playoffs (Eagles and Cowboys) and those that are playing for a certain seed/bye/or against a team that is tanking. Understanding the coaches mindset is important also. To some coaches hosting a playoff game is more important than having rested players but to others the rest is more important.
We would like to thank those of you that read our articles throughout our first NFL season on the new site. It was very rewarding to be able to hear stories form those of you that took our advice and used it correctly. Understanding that we weren't here to give you the answers to the test but we are here to be your live action cliff-notes (are they a thing anymore?) to guide you and help form a team using our recommendations and your thoughts.
This year has been a roller coaster for us but overall this site has moved us in a positive direction. Stay tuned for news regarding our next steps. We have a few big things in the works and look forward to bringing you NBA, MLB, UFC and many other sports content in the near future.
Please enjoy the new year and lets move into the Roaring 20s together with some extra cash money in our pockets!!!! Vaya Con Dios!
With that being said here we go:
Chol's Week 17 Picks
QB- Carson Wentz
Flip that over and reverse it....we are going back to Carson in another must win for Philly against a weak NYG secondary. Wentz needs to play big and he has stepped up over the last month. Additionally, it looks like the Giants under Danny Boy Jones' leadership will not go quietly into the night. This game may shootout.
RB- Miles Sanders
CHEAP OPTIONS: NEW ENGLAND RBs if Michel is out and JUSTICE HILL
Im sticking with the Philly offense here. Sanders has been a big reason that they are winning over the last month. I am a bit concerned that Jordan Howard will finally be back form injury but overall, Sanders still has an outside shot at an Offensive Rookie of the Year award. 150+ combined yards and 2 TDs may get him the award and a Philly win.
WR- Julio Jones
Since Calvin Ridley was injured Jones has saw 35 targets in 2 games. That is insane! He is facing the Bucs defense that has been murdered through the air all year. Jones will end this disappointing Atlanta season on another personal high note. Look for unreal numbers form number 11 this week.
TE- Tyler Higbee
Why mess up a good thing? JB and I have both cleaned up playing the tightend against Arizona all year. Higbee has been a top 5 tightened over the last month of the season and now he has a dream matchup. Whoop that trick! Get it!
The Saints are facing a gunslinging rookie QB that loves to take chances downfield and did not lkook that great in his first NFL start last week. Sign me up!
HAPPY NEW YEAR PLAYBOYS! GET OUT THERE AND RIP EM!!!!!
